After payment, follow the steps to add our testers to your closed-testing track.
Join our testers group
Open the link and click “Join group”:
https://groups.google.com/g/apptester-testersJoin the group with the same Google account you use in the Play Console. With another email, the group won't show up in your test settings.
Go to play.google.com/console and check which email is signed in.
Add the group in the Play Console
- 1Go to play.google.com/console
- 2Click your app
- 3In the side menu, go to “Test and release” → “Closed testing”
- 4Click “Manage track”
- 5Under “Testers”, click the “Google Groups” tab
- 6Add the group email (below)
- 7Scroll down and click “Save”
- 8Top right, click “Send for review”

Make sure you joined the group with the same account as the Play Console (Step 1).
Is your app paid, subscription or free trial? Enable License testing
Optional — only if your app charges the user (it's paid, has a subscription or a free trial). Add the same group under License testing so testers can use the paid features at no charge during the test. A fully free app can skip this step.
- 1In the Play Console side menu, go to “Settings” → “License testing”
- 2In the test accounts field, add the group email (below)
- 3Click “Save”

After you send it for review, Google runs an automatic review that can take from 15 minutes to a few hours. Nothing else to do — just wait.
